Step 1
Release tilt latch and tilt sash inward to horizontal. Place both hands on sash as shown in Fig.1. Lift sash to mid point of opening before tilting in to remove.

Step 2
Lift up on one side only, until pivot bar disengages from shoe assembly. Next, pull this free corner of sash towards you, clearing window frame as shown in Fig. 2.

Step 3
Rotate the free side of sash downward to allow removal of remaining pivot bar from shoe assembly, as shown in Fig.3.

Reverse installation steps to re-install.
