Our Promise

We know that success involves much more than a superior product. That's why we guarantee window frames, sashes and hardware, worry-free for a lifetime. Our durable insulated glass units are covered for 20 years and a 10 year guarantee covers both door slabs & components and paint & coatings.

Our vigourous product certification ensures our windows and doors meet or exceed CSA standards and are NFRC and AAMA certified. Our in-house testing facility also ensures our products achieve benchmark performance ratings.

General Exclusions and Disclaimers

This warranty will be valid only if the products are properly finished, installed, handled and maintained as described our product label. In addition, there will be no remedy against, and Equibuilt Windows and Doors will provide no warranty for, defects or damages due to any:

(1) negligence in handling, installation, accident, use or operation;
(2) use for purposes other than which the product is designed for;
(3) modifications or attachments to the product not authorized by Equibuilt Windows and Doors;
(4) perils such as but not limited to fire, storms, earthquakes, hurricanes, acts of nature, acts of war, acts of terrorism or any other cause beyond Equibuilt Windows and Doors' control;
(5) improper handling, improper installation, improper finishing or failure to provide proper finishing, improper maintenance, improper operation or failure to maintain the product;
(6) damage occurring in transit after receipt of product from Equibuilt Windows and Doors plant or truck or an authorized transfer company of Equibuilt Windows and Doors;
(7) installation in conditions that do not conform to the design specification for the product;
(8) glass imperfections that are acceptable relative to published Canadian General Standards Board (CGSB) specifications;
(9) variance in the colouration and grain pattern of natural wood products or components;
(10) wood components that are subjected to high humidity areas such as but not limited to swimming pools, greenhouses or similar enclosures;
(11) condensation or frost on doors and windows, or any related water damage which occurs as a natural result of humidity within the structure;
(12) settling of the building structure or any structural defects in the building in which the products or components are installed;
(13) exposure to a localized heat source;
(14) exposure to harmful chemicals or pollutants;
(15) window coverings installed in a manner that will enable heat to build up and become trapped against the windows surface.

EQUIBUILT WINDOWS AND DOORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR INDIRECT LOSSES AS A RESULT OF THE INSTALLATION OR USE OF OUR PRODUCTS.

Notes:
(1) All products must be paid for in full in order to qualify for warranty.
(2) Equibuilt Windows and Doors will have no liability for obsolete items, identified as such at the time of sale.
(3) No warranty will be provided as to suitability of design of product for certain applications.
(4) No Employee, sales representative, dealer or distributor have the authority to change or extend any of the provisions of this warranty. Any attempt to change or extend these warranties by such persons, whether verbally or in writing, will not be legally binding against Equibuilt Windows and Doors.
(5) Warranty begins on the date of product manufacture.
